How we think about it

The line between landscape and construction is mostly a line contractors drew for their own convenience. A deck sits on footings in the ground. A fence follows a grade. A patio meets a door at a height somebody had to get right.

Loth & Son does both sides of that line, which removes the part of a project most likely to go wrong: the handoff between two companies who each think the other one owns the problem.

What this covers

  • Decks

Framing, footings, decking and rail, and the grade underneath them.

  • Fences

Set to follow the ground rather than fight it.

  • Exterior carpentry

Repairs and rebuilds on the parts of the house the weather reaches first.

  • Interior painting

Whole rooms or the parts a renovation disturbed.

  • Flooring & tile

Interior work, taken on when it is part of a bigger project.

Interior work is something we take on for clients whose properties we already look after. It is not the main business, and we will say so if a job is outside what we do well.
