The short version
Rathana grew up in his father’s landscaping business. In 2008 he joined the Marine Corps and spent nine years in it, leaving as a Sergeant in 2017. He came home, came back to the work, and in 2019 the company took its current form as Loth & Son Lawn Care and Landscaping, LLC. His father is retired.
What the Corps left behind is not a slogan. It is the boring part: turning up on the day you said, finishing what you started, and saying so early when a job is not going the way anyone hoped.
Why one crew matters
Most properties get worked on by a chain of separate companies: one to design, one to grade, one to lay stone, one to mow. Every joint in that chain is a place where a detail gets dropped and nobody owns it.
Loth & Son does the design, the grading, the stone, the planting, the carpentry and the maintenance. Fewer joints, and the people who built it are the people who come back to look after it.
