How we think about it

Most yards on the Main Line were not designed. They accumulated. A shrub here, a bed there, a tree planted forty years ago that now shades everything you would like to grow. The result is a property that never quite reads as finished no matter how much is spent on it.

Designing the whole thing at once costs less than fixing it in pieces, because the grading, the drainage and the planting all get decided in the same conversation. It also means the plants go where they will actually live.
